ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year post graduation experience, who is looking to further develop their skills in a collaborative and design-focused environment.

You’ll be involved in a range of projects across various sectors, supporting the design and technical development of architectural plans, producing detailed drawings in both Revit and Autocad, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard software.
• Support the development of planning and building regulation submissions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to resolve technical and design issues.
• Participate in site visits, surveys, and inspections as needed.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, BIM modelling and coordinate revisions as projects evolve.
• Contribute to design discussions, offering practical and technical insights.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an architectural or design office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality technical work.
